In our head we're expecting to learn a lot of things about gemstone, precious and semi precious one but little did we know that we were in for  a big surprise <img src="http://images.multiply.com/common/smiles/omg.png"> First of all, it was super HOT day ... the market is quite big with tin roof and stuffy air (thanks to the chain smoker vendors in it). Our tour guide, Otto, ushered us to one shop and start pointing out on several 'rocks' and told us how beautiful and how original it is .. all of us bought some 'rocks' ( there were 6 ladies in our group). Then he took us to the polisher (bunch of smoking boys) and we have to wait for our rocks to be polished and shine so we can have our gemstone ready for some kind of jewelery later on. He opened the concert with ‘Give Me Some Love’ ... all of us were dancing the night away totally entertained by him. Between each song he changed his guitar or move to the piano, jamming with the band member .. even climbed up to one set of speakers and jump down ... pheewww, crazy guy !!! I'm sooooo HAPPY that I could watch him performing live here in Jakarta,thanks to my Hubby & Ariel. His earliest musical influence was his mother, a classically trained pianist and part-time piano teacher. He plays a Martin Committee Handcraft trumpet made in 1940, and uses a 3 silver plated mouthpiece from Bach made in 1926, having recently retired his 1920 3C Bach mouthpiece.
